Joyce Falcone-The Italian Concierge
EDUCATION
Ms Falcone graduated from the University of Colorado in 1977, and obtained a BA in Art Education and Italian. She studied abroad in Siena in 1976 and lived in Florence in 1994.
TRAVEL BACKGROUND
1996-1998 Ms Falcone began working for Country Walkers was responsible as a tour guide on twenty programs in Tuscany, The Lake region and in Sicily.
1999-2005 As an independent contractor, Ms Falcone solicited, and was sought out by other American touring companies, for positions as tour manager/tour guide. She became involved with companies such as REI, Earthbound Expeditions, La Cucina Italiana, Whole Journeys, Hamilton Fitzjames, Smithsonian Study Tours, The Cooking School of Aspen, and Smithsonian Journeys.
1999-2010 Ms Falcone incorporated, and initiated The Italian Concierge, Inc. As of this date, Falcone has personally led, managed, and or operated over one hundred thirty group tours throughout Italy.
Slow Food Roaring Fork-Founder
With an interest in regional Italian foods, and an eye in the kitchen, Falcone became a follower of "the Snail"( Slow Food ). In 2004, she co-founded Aspen's Slow Food local chapter, named appropriately, "Roaring Fork", and is currently Co-President.

Travel and Leisure magazine named Ms Falcone to their ÒA-LISTÓ in 2009 for her expertise in Italy.
TRAVELS TO ITALY
Ms Falcone spends 2-3 months in Italy annually conducting research, and participating in Italian Tourism Fairs.
